REALITY@SCHOOL
Students from std V to std XI are subjected to the realities of life. They go through different life careers, earn money, budget their expenses, invest their money and spend money on necessities and luxuries. They learn how to cut their expenses to meet future needs of children’s education and retirement. From std V to std XI , a period of 7 years they go through the life span from 20 years to 55 years. They get married watch their children grow through school and enter college. They realize that once they get married their expenses double and when they get children ,expenses increase with school fees etc. Sickness brings expense and they learn about Health Insurance. So by the time one is in std XI the student experiences’ ‘ real life situations’ from
age 20 to 55.
Life is not a problem to be solved; it is a Reality to be experienced.
CAREER @ SCHOOL CREATIVITY@SCHOOL LIFE SKILLS@SCHOOL
In the Career @ School program students learn about 100 or more careers before they leave school. They know about the career, know what subjects they have to study for the career, know which colleges offer courses of study, the cost of such education and finally which companies in India and abroad will employ such careers. Most importantly they are asked to think creatively ‘Out of the box’ about every career option and come up with ideas that could turn the world upside down. They are encouraged to give different aspects of the career options and what new innovation they can add to the career. 60 years ago a flying car was science fiction, now it is expected to be on sale by 2020. Most importantly in Careers@School program they earn
a salary every month. Their career changes every month whereby they receive a different salary pertaining to their career and they learn about the career. Every Wednesday is "Careers Day" when all students have to put on their careers ID around their necks which says for example " I am a doctor " with a picture of a doctor with the salary Rs. 25,000 written below. Like wise a carpenter's salary may be Rs.15000. A Vth Std student will be given the career card of the doctor which explains the nature of the work and what subjects one should study. The VIIth std student will get a career card of the doctor with more details like the colleges in India etc. The Xth std student will get more information as the the cost of the study and the job prospects once the course is finished. The salary of the doctor starting with RS. 25000 for the 5th std will rise every year till it is about 1.5 lakhs for the XIth std. From 7th to 11th std a student will get 10 to 11 careers a year totaling about 70 to 77 careers right through school. Salaries range from as low as Rs.15000 to Rs. 300000 per month. The total earning in the careers program could be 50 to 75 lakhs. Earning in the Careers@School program is deposited in the Bank @ School and is used in Investment @ School program and Lifestyle @ School program. With every salary cheque will come an expense slip with house rent, electricity, food expenses, school fees for those who have kids and even demands from kids wanting I phones or scooters. These students will realise the hardship their parents are undergoing . .

SANATANA DHARMA@SCHOOL
“Sanatana Dharma” has been the most widely used name of the path of Truth, and is used as far back as the Rig Veda, the very earliest scripture of the Indo-European peoples, and the earliest written text known to humanity. It is also the most philosophically profound and conceptually beautiful name for the path of Truth.
Followers of Dharma Spirituality (Dharmis) believe in one, all-pervasive and all-loving Supreme Being. Though worshiped in different ways, and by different names, in a variety of ways, there is ultimately only one God. God is not Hindu, Christian, Jewish, or Muslim. Rather, God is the ultimate inspiration of all sects and religions, and this is the case whether any particular religion acknowledges this truth or not.
BAI FANG LI @ SCHOOL ( PHILANTHROPY @ SCHOOL)
In Bai Fang Li students experience the “Joy of Giving “. They learn that they have duty to their fellow beings. Sharing with others and making others happy is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Students are encouraged to part with their virtual money to philanthropic causes.
LIFESTYLE @ SCHOOL
In Lifestyle @ School students experience the decisions taken during one’s lifetime to enhance the quality of life for members of the family. They start with small purchases like buying Utilities like TV, Washing machine, laptops etc. Then as their incomes increase they plan on bigger purchases like a scooter , car, and even a house. They do all this with money they have earned in the Careers @ School program and is in their Bank accounts. They get a nice coloured picture of their purchases which they stick in the Lifestlye @ School record book. By the time they are in the XI th std the record book will be a pleasure to see. For purchases they are given 4 options of the product . For example if it is a car - the cheapest car Nano to the expensive Rolls Royce. Rs. 3 lakhs - Rs. 10 lakhs - Rs. 35 lakhs to 2 crores. There will be a note at the bottom that says " All cars will take you from A to B , some more faster, some more comfortable, and some that serve as a status symbol. - Take your pick" Similarly 4 options will be given for watches, tv, mobile phones scooter , cycle, etc etc. Once they decide they get a picture of the product they choose and the cost will be deducted from their bank account! Children are very wise - they will opt for the cheaper models and invest wisely in shares .
We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.

The education which does not help the common mass of people to equip themselves for the struggle for life, which does not bring out strength of character, a spirit of philanthropy and the courage of a lion – is it worth the name?

IT TAKES COURAGE TO EFFECT A CHANGE .
We know something is wrong with our education system. We should have the courage to change that. A country like Finland no bigger than the state of Tamilnadu could bring about a remarkable student driven successful education .
